YEAH! Good news! Nick made it through the night without oxygen! I think he has turned the corner and is getting better. At least better enough to be mad at me that I didn't let him go with Dan to basketball practice, I am SOO mean! I even feel a little better, maybe it has to do with the fact that after I got Brandon off to school I went back to bed and slept until 11:48am - WOW! Nick even slept that late, too! The flu is a kick in the pants, that is for sure. Our sweet friends, the Grants, came by and brought us dinner so I don't have to cook tonight. The cutest was their twins Jacob and Nicole made Nick a candy-gram to help him feel better. It was the biggest smile I had seen on his face all week!

The other event of the day - SNOW! Surprise, I know. I have decided I know it has snowed too much when I watched the weather and they said we got 6 inches of snow and I thought 'that's all?' Dan and Brandon have full time jobs keeping the driveway and sidewalk clear. The pile next to the driveway keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Everyone have a fun Friday and a great weekend!

I'm glad you all are on the mend... it seems like we were all down sick for the holidays and it was just a continuous cycle. Hopefully we can have a break for a while (then again, you never know with a nursery aged child!)
And the snow looks so beautiful. I have to say that when we were living with Grandma and Grandpa, one of my favorite things to do was to see Mt. Olympus covered with fog and snow during our morning commutes to work (your street had the best view ever!) Geez - it makes me miss it so much!
We are buried up to our necks with snow too, but Spokane just doesn't know how to handle it. They've never heard of salt or snow plows, so they've cancled two days of school and also church this week. I guess it's a good excuse to stay inside by the fire!
We miss you guys too! We're glad to see you are all doing well!
