It's Finally Time!!

After FIVE years - it is finally time. Brandon is getting his braces off the first week in February!! Now we can finally get his senior pictures taken!! Woohoo!!!

Beautiful Music!!

Brandon has been in the concert choir this year at Skyline. One of the great things for us is getting to listen to them perform throughout the Christmas season! One Sunday evening in December they performed downtown at the Assembly Hall at Temple Square. It was a beautiful night and they did a great job! We weren't able to get pictures in the hall but here are a few outside.

Brandon's Winter Formal

Last night Brandon went with his friend Alex to Winter Formal. It was a girl's choice dance and the their group went out to dinner, the dance and back to one of the girl's house for games and chocolate fondue! They had a great time! Alex's dress was beautiful - the detail on the skirt was gorgeous! They looked really cute together and had a wonderful night.

Yep, Still Here...

I can't believe I haven't posted for this long!! It has been a crazy two weeks but I will be back!! Just a little hint of what I've been up to...

Yes! The movie was awesome!! If you haven't seen it - go!! And our event was fabulous, too. More info after the holiday. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!!

We will miss you Elder Weixler!!

Our good friend Davey has made a wonderful decision and going on a mission!! He goes into the MTC on Wednesday and then will spend two years serving in the Hamburg Germany mission. We are so proud of him, will miss him greatly and know that he is doing a wonderful thing and Germany is lucky to have him!

Davey has been helping coach our friend's team for the past couple of years and the Midget team will miss him. After today's game they had a little going away for him, gave him a tie (blue and gold of course!) that the whole team signed and made a banner for him.

Football and Halloween

Today has been a really fun day. Starting with a fabulous win this morning for Nick's football team! They played Kearns and if Skyline won they were guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. They started slow but ended up winning the game in DOUBLE overtime!! It was really exciting with lots of cheering and happy smiles after the game.

It was such a beautiful day that we stayed and watched our good friend's son play and they won, also so they will being going to the playoffs also.

Morning at Good Things Utah

Today was so much fun! Our New Moon event was spotlighted on Good Things Utah this morning so a group of us went and watched the live broadcast - it was so fun!! Jeni and I have wanted to do for a while and it was as much fun as I had hoped!

Football and Pizza

Last Saturday Nick's football team played South Summit up in Oakley. It was a beautiful day for football! They had a great game and won 27-7. On the way home the team stopped at one of the player's dad's pizza restaurant in Park City. John was really great and closed the restaurant for the team party - it was so much fun!

Only in the country do you play football next to a barn...

Our Weekend -Football, Cracker Barrel and Antelope Island

We had a fun weekend! Nick's team won their game Saturday morning so that was great.

Dan and I decided our family needed to do something "just the 4 of us". Life has been SO crazy lately and we all seem to be running in different directions! We decided to drive up to Antelope Island just to sightsee and have somewhere to go!

We drove up and stopped for dinner on the way. Our boys had never been to Cracker Barrel! In the south that is THE place to stop when you take road trips. Dinner and shopping all in one stop! We had so much fun there! The boys loved the store and all the "old fashioned" candy.

Next we headed over to the road out to Antelope Island but by the time we got there the park was closing in 1 hour and we didn't feel like paying the $9 to get in for such a short time. We just took some pictures just outside the park and laughed and laughed and laughed. It felt really good just to have fun doing nothing!

Skyline 6 Cottonwood 0!!

Woohoo!! Nick's team won against Cottonwood this past Saturday! And the backpad worked because Nick had a fantastic game including a quarterback sack! Way to go Skyline Mity Mites!

Cam is dating one of the player's sister so they came to watch our little boys play - must have been good luck! And yea, the boys were really excited that they were there!!
