TOO SCARY!!

What happened!?!? I think all of Adam's fans (including myself!) became overconfident and decided not to make the effort to call in and vote for him - he was in the bottom two!!! That cannot happen again! I do still think Danny Gokey is wonderful but Adam is the complete package already. At this point everyone left in the final four are winners but Adam has been an artist and entertainer all season and deserves to be THE guy in the end!

Happy Birthday to Us!

Life has obviously been crazy busy and I haven't updated in a while so here it is! Once baseball starts it takes over! Nick is playing and Brandon is umping again this year. Plus our nephews both play and one of our favorite places to be in the spring is sitting on the grass watching baseball games! So we spend a lot of time at the ballpark.

Brandon's birthday was a couple of weeks ago and mine and Dan's was last week so here are the pictures! We had family over for Brandon's birthday and spent the night at the ballpark with family for Dan's and my birthday. Nick and Jordan played at the same time on different fields so we just all sat in between the fields and cheered for both. They even both pitched that night so it was a lot of fun, we just kept yelling "Good job Urry" and that covered both boys! I will try and remember to bring the camera to the games and get some pictures there. Nick is pitching again and doing a great job. He has started every game and so far they are undefeated but have a tougher game ahead of them tomorrow! Hopefully the weather will hold out! Springtime in Utah... grrrrr!!

He's Home!!

Brandon got back from Disneyland about 2:30 this afternoon and besides eating lunch, giving Nick his gift and telling a little about his trip this is what he has been doing. It was a fun filled whirlwind trip with very LITTLE sleep! He had a great time and we'll post pictures later. Here is Nick's new Mickey Mouse that Brandon brought him- Nick loves it!

Dan showed us this last night and while I'm sure everyone has seen it by now it is worth looking at again! She is so amazing and it's wonderful to listen to her over and over and see the look on Simon's face over and over!! Good job Susan!!

He's Going to Disneyland!!

Brandon is off to Disneyland for his school's choir/band tour. Notice the big smile just before he left - he is going to have so much fun! They perform one day and just enjoy the park the rest of the time. His bus was one of four that carry about 220 teenagers and very brave chaperones! WOW! At least they will be having great weather - much better than the snow and cold here!

Wow!! Adam Again!!

I know I seem to flip flop back and forth but tonight I am all about Adam again! Even Simon gave him a standing ovation!! He did an amazing job singing Mad World! I LOVE this season of American Idol! My top fav has to be Adam but I do still love Danny Gokey!

Sick Mom Alert!

I have spent the last week SOOO sick! It always happens, Nick gets really sick and I am the main caretaker of the coughing child (Dan has to stay FAR away - he has asthma, too and can't risk catching it!). So after being coughed on for a week I get to have my turn. This year it was bad! I started getting sick last Saturday and I am still fighting it! At least my school has spring break this week and I can just stay home and get better!! Thank goodness for ibuprofen and cough drops!!!
