So much for good intentions

I really was going to be more on top of things and update my blog AT LEAST every other day. Well, our sick little boy only got sicker as the day went along Monday (see last post) and finally at about 1:00am (the final two hours at home were me living in denial) I climbed into my clothes, bundled Nick up, kissed Dan good-bye (he stayed home with Brandon plus he was sick himself) and made the snowy drive to Primary Children's Hospital where Nick and I spent our time until today. He needed oxygen again so we hung out up there. He did get to come home today but still has to be on oxygen at night and still feels "yuck" as he says but at least we are home! Being in a hospital room with Nick for 3 1/2 days and the only one not wearing a mask around him I caught the flu from him and I feel "yuck" myself! At least tonight we will sleep in our own beds while the latest snowstorm hits and we are back home with Dan and Brandon. YEA! And word to the wise - we did get our flu shots this year and the doctors all said Nick (and the rest of us) would be much worse off without them - SO GET YOUR FLU SHOTS!! :)

This is seeming like a REALLY good idea for Nick these days!!!
