Football Is Over - Not Really!

The REGULAR season is over, but it doesn't end there! Nick's little team ended the REGULAR season in first place with only one loss in the season! Yea for them! So that means they made the playoffs and will play at least one more game. It is single elimination so they have to win this week to make the championship game. No pressure! Yesterday they played Kearns and Skyline won 26-0. It was another beautiful day weather-wise and we soaked up the sun in preparation for the long winter ahead! Here are a few pictures from the game and a short video of Nick kicking the ball off after they scored. He kicked an on-sides kick (kinda by accident!) and Skyline recovered the ball - way to go! It was Nick's first attempt at a kick this season and he was very happy and proud. And for those of you that have your speakers turned on Dan was a little excited, too! If you think the boys in green that Nick's team played look BIG - you're right, they are!!

This has been a really fun season with great weather for the most part. Nick's team has decided to play in a post-post season tournament here in town. They will play two games and hopefully get to play some teams they don't normally get to see. Let's just hope the good weather holds! And THEN - football will be over, until next year! And then it is time for basketball...
